This residential project, located in the South District and less than 500 square feet, was redesigned by MP to enhance the comfort of the male and female homeowners. The most crucial element was bringing natural light into every corner of the space; of course, a sea view was also essential. When MP first saw that the original bedroom layout blocked sunlight and the sea view, this became the source of MP’s design inspiration: “sunlight.” Furthermore, MP believes the most special aspect of this project is the homeowner’s exceptional trust and commitment. “In the past, we sometimes faced some tricky problems during the design process. For example, many design details required establishing trust with the homeowner before we could easily ask questions. But this time, we knew the homeowner’s lifestyle and preferences inside and out, making the design process much smoother.”
